Growing up my favorite books beyond all books were the The Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander. I was completely mesmerized by them and immersed in the world of Prydain. I really wish they would make a live action movie of the series. The only real thing we have is the Disney cartoon The Black Cauldron which was ok.

Oddly enough when I was a very young kid I told my friend Matthew that I would name my first born son "Alexander", after Lloyd Alexander, and I had long forgotten saying that. Four years ago, without remembering what I had said almost 15 years earlier, I named my first born Alexander. A few months later that memory hit me.

(Matthew by the way, at the same time, said he was going to name his first born son Xavier….you have no choice now man!)
