Reminder: The Peacekeeper War is Coming!

Anyone who knows me knows I am a HUGE MASSIVE Farscape fan. It is by far the very best sci-fi show created since the Original Star Trek.

I can’t wait till the new miniseries “FARSCAPE: THE PEACEKEEPER WARS” ( Trailer ) is here. It’s a four-hour mini-series set to air in the US on October 17 & 18 from 9pm EST on The SCI FI Channel.

The mini-series promises to pick up where the 4th season left off with Crichton and Aeryn in pieces, bringing back familiar faces and showing alliances formed and crumbled as the biggest war in the galaxy is about to begin.

Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars will continue the adventures of astronaut John Crichton and his intergalactic comrades. Newly engaged and expectant parents John Crichton (Ben Browder) and Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) have been chased around the galaxy and have fallen in love, and now all they want is for their baby to be born and live in peace. However, they will first have to survive an all-out galactic war between the Scarrans and the Peacekeepers as well as the myriad outlandish and unexpected surprises that have become the hallmark of this award-winning series.

Farscape lasted 4 years 88 episodes and was slated for a 5th season when it got cancelled out of the blue by The SCI FI Channel. The SCI FI Channel has had their share of problems and poor choices of showing crap and dumping award winning programs and this was just one more bad decision.

Farscape has won numerous awards and even won for a 3rd year in a row the Saturn Award for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series even after it has been cancelled.

You can read more about the saga to save the show at SaveFarscape.com.

I wish everyone would take the time to watch this show. Especially Sci-Fi and fantasy fans. Farscape has even been able to reach out and grab those who are not sci-fi and fantasy fans as well due to its high level of creativity, acting, and stories.

The best way (and to me the only way) to enjoy the series is to watch it in order from start to finish. It’s sort of a “space opera” so you have to see it in order to follow what is going on and to really get into the story.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you rent and watch all 88 episodes in order to get caught up, but if you don’t have time or are unable to you can use these links below to get caught up as best as possible without watching them all.

Either way, watch this mini series and help Farscape get the ratings it deserves.
