I am now in New Orleans for the Macromedia Convention, Max 2004. I got in at around 3pm and checked into the Hilton Riverside next to the mighty miss-a-sip.

We took right off walking all over and headed down to Bourbon street and ate on the balcony at a cool place right on the street and had a great view of things. I ordered a catfish po-boy sandwich and chicken sausage gumbo. It was excellent.

The French Quarter stunk hardcore of booze, piss, and puke. It was very very nasty. I don’t know how people get used to the smell. The Bourbon street area was even worse.

Things started to pick up after awhile and since its Halloween everyone was dressed up.

We had walked so much that we started to get tired pretty quickly and went back to the hotel.

When I got back the internet here was down and so I couldn’t get on the net and get my fix. But as you can tell the net access is back up and all is well now.

Anyway I will try and blog everyday and give updates on the conference.
