My 10 year Highschool Reunion; Photos Inside

Newcastle Highschool Class of 1994 Reunion

I went to my 10 year high school reunion Friday night, and turns out I’m glad I went.

The only disappointing part was there wasn’t a large turnout, and some people I hoped would be there didn’t come. But there was something nice about a small group too. It was great to see everyone that was there.

An interesting statistic, out of the 24 people (?), 13 of us had been in school together since Kindergarten. I wish we would have all taken a photo together but I didnt think of it. Next time we need to.

Matthew "jmbzine.com" Branum, went with Brandi and I. The reunion was at the Tinker conference center. It started at 7pm and we didn’t leave until around 11pm I think it was.

One of my best friends from high school Greg Wood was there who I hadn’t seen since we graduated. I’m glad he came, Matthew and I was hoping he would since we hadn’t seen him in the last 10 years.

Piper came and I’m glad she did because I lost track of where she was and how to get a hold of her. I often see or talk to Piper, Josh and Matthew so I knew how they were doing. Pretty much everyone else I hadn’t seen in 5 to 10 years.

I am probably missing some but my mind fails me and plus it was really dark.

I wish I had taken more pictures. I didn’t get all the people who were there and I wish I had. Hopefully those with digital cameras will post them on NewcastleAlumni.com.

If anyone reading has any photos please email me and send them to me so I can post them. I would love to get as many as possible and put them all together in an online photo gallery.

All in all it was a good time and I wish I was able to go to the picnic they had for the families the next day, but Brandi’s Great Grandmother Mitzi was having thanksgiving at the same time in Waurika Oklahoma. She is the kids Great Great Grandmother. So we decided it was best to go and spend time with her family.

Hopefully we all won’t wait another 10 years to get together. I say a 15 year reunion might be nice since many missed this one. I’m willing.

I really wish we had taken a group photo of all of us who have been together since Kindergarten.

It didn’t even cross my mind at the time.

It would have been interesting to take the group photo from kindergarten that is in our senior yearbook and then put that with each group photo at these reunions.

That's fascinating. I can't believe you guys have been out of school for ten years. Of course I guess I was still in elementary school at the time. I wonder what my ten year reunion will be like.....

I've been looking for this site for a while. I think other people might also. I wonder if Amanda has an email list so we could announce the website to everyone. I wish there were more pictures...

Hey Kerali…. Yeah me too, I wish people would put more up over at the Newcastle Alumni site.

Heck they can even email them to me and I will put them up.

I seem to remember Amanda saying she did have a list of emails.

I'd like to get a message out about newcastlealumni.com and get everyone to at least register so we can maintain a list there for easy communication.

And of course it would be nice to have people post lots of photos and what they are up to.

It’s free to signup, I own the site so we all control it and can do what we want for our class.

If anyone sees this and does have some more pics send them my way.

Please pass the word along about that website. It’s for all classes to use. I hear class of 1995 is organizing something.

Also if you have any photos post them there, and be sure and register so we have a list of people to contact for next reunion.
