David Hasselhoff Chosen As Bluetooth Spokesperson For Germany and becomes "Hassle the Hoff".

The Bluetooth SIG today announced the appointment of David Hasselhoff as the next spokesperson for Bluetooth in Germany.

"The Germans love David Hasselhoff, and we plan to use his mass market appeal in Germany to broaden the support for Bluetooth Wireless Technology."

The first Bluetooth media event is being coordinated by rap legend Ice-T and will promote Hasselhoff as "Hassle the Hoff".

"The Hoff meister is no stranger to the music industry having conquered Germany through his soft rock skills."

Ice and Hasselhoff, 51, are neighbours in Los Angeles and have struck up a close friendship.

The rapper - real name Tracey Morrow - told The Sun: "The man is a legend, we are going to show a whole new side of him.

"He’s gonna come out as Hassle the Hoff.

"The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour."
