Since when did Americans have to register for our freedom? Since the U.S. Senate passed 100-0 an $82 billion Iraq Supplemental Spending Bill which just happens to include the Real ID act driver’s license "reform".

This is a national ID Card people. This Real ID act will create a national driver’s license standard, and a federal database of information from all 50 states. And I thought Drivers Licenses where for driving.

You now have to register for your freedom; as if the federal government couldn’t get any bigger and have more control over our lives this comes along.

Real ID will not make us any safer no matter how they try and spin it. In fact we will be less safe from tyranny and despotism than every before because it doesn’t come from outside forces but right here in the homeland; our own backyard.

States right are slowly dying away. Republicans used to champion and fight for states rights, but no longer in recent years has this been the case at all. I can’t tell the difference anymore from the two ruling parties.

Republicans are no longer true conservatives and we need to wake up to that fact. The democrats are no longer really liberal either. I won’t sully the terms liberal and conservative when talking about these two parties. It will simply be right and left as far as I am concerned. The left isn’t right and the right just left.

This national registry of United States citizens passed 100-0 in the senate. Do you think our leaders are doing what’s in our best interest anymore? We hired these folks, and we need start firing them next election.

It’s time we turned off our TV’s and got serious.
