From the Presidents speech last night this really scares me:
"It is now clear that a challenge on this scale requires greater federal authority and a broader role for the armed forces—the institution of our government most capable of massive logistical operations on a moment’s notice." - President G. W. Bush Discusses Hurricane Relief in Address to the Nation from Jackson Square New Orleans, Louisiana
"The greatest tyrannies are always perpetrated in the name of the noblest causes."—Thomas Paine
Remember folks the price of liberty is eternal vigilance. Its time liberal’s wake up to the dangers of an all powerful over extending government and its time conservative’s wake up to see their leaders no longer champion the ideas of small un-intrusive government and state rights.
"Voting is no substitute for the eternal vigilance that every friend of freedom must demonstrate towards government. If our freedom is to survive, Americans must become far better informed of the dangers from Washington—regardless of who wins the Presidency."—James Bovard in Voting is Overrated
"Make yourself sheep and the wolves will eat you."—Benjamin Franklin
