Thanksgiving is over and unfortunately its time to get back into swing of things. Although the swing feels like more like a chop; it’s back to work.
Thanksgiving day we traveled to my mom’s house to have dinner with the family. First we drove to my grandparents house in the city because the night before we dropped off a couch and two recliners that some friends of ours were giving away.
My grandparents were in need of a couch and also wanted to replace their recliners so we thought this would save them some money. The couch was hardly used so it was in great shape. The chairs were a bit more used but still in good condition.
Brandi has wanted a recliner and turns out my grandparents decided they didn’t want the maroon one and in fact were just going to go look for new ones.
So we decided to go up there and check it out to see if it’s something we would want and also drive my grandparents to thanksgiving.
We decided to keep the chair and it looks perfect in the living room.
This works great for me since I am so cheap and had been trying to deflect the repeated requests to get a new one.
Thanksgiving dinner was great there was tons of food and we all had a good time. The weather wasn’t as nice as it had been in the past. It was cold so most of us stayed inside.
Mom, Brandi, Kristen and the kids did take a walk to the woods and had an encounter with a mean dog. I don’t know the full story but it sounded like it was crazy.
Here are some photos. Brandi was taking the photos this year and apparently didn’t take many.
