80yrs Old

April 9th we went to my grandparent’s house for my grandpa’s 80th birthday. The boys got him a electronic robin that is motion activated. The head and tail move realistically as it chirps. The sound is an actual recording of a robin.

The rest of us got him a bird bath. He has started feeding birds and squirrels in his front yard and has amassed a huge feathered following. He has all sorts of different types of birds’ visit his yard and we have pulled up and seen literally his entire front yard covered in birds.

It's hard to believe he is 80. He definitely is a character but I have to say he is also one of the best people I've ever known.

Anyway, tell him hi for me.

Yeah I know 80, crazy. Grandpa keeps saying he never thought he would make it to 80. Hey says that his grandpa and dad never did.

He doesnt get around that good but his mind is still sharp and packed with wonderful stories about our family and his life.

I know he has always been impressed and thought very highly of you and your kind words will mean so much to him.
