Mall of the Americas

The following day we went to the Mall of American in Minnesota. Its not a bad drive just a couple hours. The kids enjoyed seeing such a huge mall. We went with really just two things in mind to see there; The Aquarium and the Lego Store. We also went to Ikea across the street.

The aquarium was very nice. It had more fish in one place than I have seen at any aquarium. I found it far better than even Sea World San Antonio’s.

This was one where you walk though a tunnel and are surrounded by the water and fish. They would swim over our heads and it felt like you could reach out and touch them by the way the glass was so clear and low to our head.

We ended up going through it twice.

The kids though the Lego Store was a blast. They built cars to race on the track and we bought some each a small pack. Alex got one that you build a dinosaur and Parker got one that builds into a car.

After we were done at the Mall we met up with Ginny and Mom at Ikea. I’ve always wanted to go to that store and it was very nice. The décor is completely my style. We bought quite a few things but where limited of course because we only have so much space for our trip back home.

This Ikea was massive and had a very nice restaurant in it. The food was Scandinavian like Swedish meatballs for example. It was also very cheap to eat there. I had Swedish meatballs and Pomegranate juice. Man I love Pomegranate and I wish we could buy this juice here. It was just another choice in the drink fountain.

Checking out some fish.

We also got to touch stingrays and small sharks. We didnt manage to catch one of the sharks but we all got to touch a stingray.

Wow! Great pics!
We love IKEA! Get this... IKEA is less than a mile from our home here in Tempe, AZ!
Gary's Kathy was here last week for business... we walked through the entire IKEA store!
It's considered the largest... because we carry the summer line year round.
See you soon!

Nice.

We would do our whole house if we could. The Industrial Mod Scandinavian look is our style.
