On, Wisconsin!

The next day we went to visit Erik in Madison. I’ve never been to Madison so I was excited to see the Wisconsin state capital first hand.

Erik was our tour guide and he did a wonderful job. We took a tour of the capital and the University of Wisconsin campus which Erik attends.

I have to say that Wisconsin has the best looking capital I have ever seen. It was super clean and very elaborately detailed.

We ate lunch and had some amazing pizza at a place on State Street. Later that evening we ate at the Student Union.

I was also able to get a copy of the print version of the Onion.

The boys spent the day with Aunt Kathy and Cousin Anna which they loved. They didn’t care at all where we went or what we did. In fact when we returned home that evening they weren’t happy we were back.

Here are some photos from the trip.

Ah look I have on a different shirt.

That state sure loves its beer.

I got a copy of the print version of the Onion. Erik pointed me right to it.
