Alex turned 6 July 19th. I went to work in the morning then at noon, after a meeting with a new company I am doing contract for, Brandi came and picked me up and we all went to see the movie "Cars" at the Harkins Theatre.

That movie was great, and I am not afraid to admit I thought it was a quite touching little film. It also top quality animation as we have come to expect from Pixar. I highly recommend seeing it.

That evening we had the family come over and then went out to eat at Jimmy’s Roundup café. Alex loves that place and always get pancakes so it was his call.

Alex got a Lego Xpod from Parker, Aquarium from Kristen, Joe, Mya, and Kennady with all the accessories to go with it. (she is all taking Alex to get a fish). Mom got Alex this cool Pirates of the Caribbean mega blocks set as well as some clothes and 6 dollars.

Brandi, Parker and I also got Alex a Dragon Flyz figure with Dragon.
